I recently visited Bass Pro Shops at Concord Mills and had an outstanding experience with Tarek, a Vacation Specialist representing Hilton Grand Vacations. From the very beginning, Tarek was thorough, upfront, and completely transparent about the 4-day, 3-night getaway package. There was never any pressure or hidden surprises—he took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I understood exactly what to expect. What truly set Tarek apart was his exceptional customer service. He went far above and beyond what I expected by providing his contact information in case I had any questions. Whenever I called or texted, he responded promptly and was always willing to help. He even worked to ensure I was able to book the exact dates I wanted at the destination I preferred. In today’s world, it’s rare to find someone so genuinely committed to taking care of their customers. Tarek truly puts the “service” in customer service. His professionalism, honesty, responsiveness, and dedication made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. I recently visited the Bass Pro Shops gun counter expecting to begin the process of purchasing a firearm. Since this was my first time buying one, I thought there would be a background check process before selecting a firearm, so I approached the counter and explained what I was trying to do. The two employees at the counter, Nick and Parker, appeared uninterested in helping. They were standing with their arms crossed and, when I asked about getting a background check started, I was met with a cold and dismissive response. Rather than helping explain the process, I was made to feel like my questions weren’t worth their time. As a customer who was genuinely looking to make a purchase, it left a very poor first impression. Thankfully, another employee, Moises, stepped in and completely changed the experience. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the process and answer my questions. Because of his customer service, I felt comfortable moving forward with my purchase. I’ve been a customer from this bass pro shops since 2003, and I’ve spent thousands of dollars on fishing rods/reels, guns, etc but today I was very disappointed. I bought another gun, and asked the gentleman if I bought a red dot as well would they put it on and he said he could. I told him if he didn’t feel comfortable then I could take it to my local gun range where they know me and would do it for me if I bought the optic from them. He said it was no problem and that he could do it. So after waiting about 30 minutes another associate came out and said that the guy working on it was still struggling and said that he thinks he could still mount it. I told him thanks for trying , but I’d feel more confident in my gun range because they have actual gun smiths and if anything happened, I know I could go back and they would remember me and make it right. Again, I thanked him for trying, and he had everything boxed up and taped shut. Now when I got to the car, after spending over $1000 on the gun, and about $250 on a light and some ammo, I opened the box up to find that it had a few scratches on it from when he was working on it on the bench in the back.
